ABOUT THE ARTIST
I’ve always had a deep love and connection to wildlife and nature. From a young age, being around animals has brought me a sense of peace, a connection that has naturally guided me towards working hands-on with a range of fascinating species, from baby sparrows to lynx. I’ve previously worked in wildlife conservation and rehabilitation, and continue to do so when I can. That ongoing work has deepened my appreciation and understanding of the importance of protecting and preserving our native species, and looking out for the too often ignored wildlife we pass every day.
Based in Bournemouth, I specialise in creating bird taxidermy, where each specimen is approached with care and respect. For me, it’s about more than just re-creation. It’s about creating a lasting tribute to each bird, preserving its beauty and the small details that made it unique. I hope my work creates a stronger connection to the wildlife we share our world with, and encourages people to step back and appreciate it a little more - Chloe :)
